Could Content Gap Analysis work with only one URL provided?

Would it be possible to have the Content Gap Analysis tool, or a related tool, that would take an existing (competitor’s) post and tell me the ways I could write something better?

Essentially, I want to plug in a single URL to the tool and see a list of suggestions that I could use to outline and draft my own post targeting the same keyword.

    Love this idea, so it would be for an article you have yet to publish? I am working on a way where you can put in a single url you’ve published and it gives you suggestions but this sounds like it would be pre-publish.

      Yes, exactly, so I could use the Content Gap tool at the idea/outline or drafting stage to figure out what to include in my not-yet-published article.

      If I’m creating a brief for an article, I’ll often look at what the top competing post(s) are doing and what I could do better (e.g. if they lack examples, I could add examples).
